computers disappearing?

hello there again!
technology has grown in so many ways throughout time. Here techology is so advance that many scientists are just making more and more models... We used to rely in computers to do so many tasks for us. Back then people would have to do things by ourselves meaning people would punch in numbers and equations in the computer system to get something done... Now there are so many wireless technology that we can depend in to make out lives easier. Computers has served us well..

horizon vs gmail...

hey all...
so here is a rant about this new policy.. system.. or whatever that is linking our horizon.csueastbay.edu email to our gmail.com.... it is so annoying... -.-
whenever I sign on to my gmail account... I tend to not sign out because its just a hassel to retype my account name and password... but NOW.. if I dont sign out of my gmail.. I cannot sign on to my horizon.csueastbay.edu or I think the horizon email site will just automatically log me off and sign me onto my horizon account... who would make up such a thing?? to link both accounts?
this is how advance technology can be... it can screw up our lives...

Smartphone Hackers?

on msnbc.com, i read an article about experimenting people putting smartphones near their computer and the smartphone can be sending your every keystrokes to a hacker.. what?? So students at Georgia Tech's School tried this experiment. They first tried it on the iphone3GS to see if the other side can recieve the vibrations and try to figure out what the person was typing. But it was very faint. So they tried it with the iphone4 and it had much better signal wth the vibrations from the computer. So i guess hackers can use smartphones and decipher what you are typing on your computer.

Oh Siri....

So i got my new iphone4s, and the newest feature on apple phones is a program called Siri. Siri knows everything. You ask her a question... she'll know the answer. She even has a sense of humor... Example.. me : "i love you siri" siri : "i hope you dont say that to other electronic devices" and etc. The other day when i was driving... i had to send a text message to my sister. and so instead of using my hands to text.. ill just tell siri to do it. when im driving... i can tell siri to tell me how the traffic is like on 880South. On youtube, i saw a video where a person talked to siri in French, and the program who replied had a male voice. woah! so i decided to try to talk to siri in chinese (canto) and it didnt work!! she just kept saying " i dont understand" ... fail....... anyways here's my rant....

Future of Technology!

Hello fellow studentss, today for this blog post I did not know what to write about. So I decided to go on msn.com and looked for articles about technology and science. On the main page, there is an article posted about wireless bike brakes. First thing I thought about was... what happens if the wireless brakes fail? wouldnt a lot of people get hurt? worst invention ever....  

Anyways I read the article and it is about

researches developing this invention that... and i quote "works almost all the time" umm... thats not reassuring... anyways  how this wireless brake works is by when you want to stop.. you simply just "clenching" the rubber grip on the handle instead of pulling the lever. Well... while riding a bike arent you already "clenching" the rubber part??? then you would constantly either slow down to brake... or even braking... what kind of invention?? and then later in the article it mentions that in Europe or somewhere international, they are testing out this wirelesss brake for trains... What?! thats just ridiculous... I know technology is improving.. but having wireless brakes is just kind of over the edge... I mean if these "wireless brakes" were for emergency... then ok... but not for daily usage.... its just insane of researches are trying to come up with the darnest ways with technology...

skynet?

hey everyone! for mondays assignment we had to read an article about the future and what not. Anyways here are my thoughtsssss. I dont think there will be such things as robots. It is crazy that the thought of having robots in our world is crazy. This reminds me of the movie irobot. 

In this movie, if i remember correctly, robots took over the world. At first it was really cool and amazing how robots can do what we do. But unfortunately the robots became bad and started taking over . Then this is where Will Smith comes in and saves the world. See in my opinion robots are a very bad idea.... i really believe that robots can never ever take over our world. 

question..

i just pre-ordered an iphone4s.... and after clicking "place my order" i had a excitement burst. i thought to myself.. that this is my first iphone and it is going to be really awesome with a cool phone... but then after.. i thought to myself... how did apple get so famous?? why is everyone or most of the people obsessing with apple?? the iphones arent even 4G yet... so that means their internet connection is slow right? why are people obsessing with the iphones?? because they are slicker? cooler? lots of apps??? well you're right. LOL there are soo many different awesome things you can do with a smartphone... so why do i sound like a noob about apps and smartphones? because i have never had one in my life.... so i am really excited to recieve it next week!

iphone4s???

hello everyone. iphone4s came out a few days ago and everyone is talking about it!! i heard a lot of disappointments from people because of the name. The Apple compnay chose the name to be iphone4s instead of 5. I think the newest iphone should be called iphone4s because it only has imporved specs in the phone... its not a dramatic change.... so it doesnt need to be called iphone5 yet..... when the time comes like when the Apple designers change the style of the iphone or add very dramatic changed like.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzsBwnv_dAg&feature=related .. this... then it should be called iphone5... but now i am having a hard time deciding whether i should get my first iphone as iphone 4s or just iphone4.... man.... decisions.. decisions....
